I had this dream just before waking this morning and haven't yet worked on the interpretation.
I am dealing with two sets of five each electric powered lifts. They seem to be industrial lifts of some sort. Each lift is painted John Deere green and each has a charging unit with it. One set appears to be new and the other is older. -------------- I’m in a workplace with some other people. The boss and I are going somewhere together when he asks about another employee. I see that employee and another hiding behind an adjacent building. The boss goes to talk to them. I move on into a manufacturing area filled with new computer controlled machines. One employee is trying to find out how to open a door on one of them. I show him and when I open it, I see that it is the master switch for the machine. The machines are all outside and there are desks and other office equipment around them. ------------ I see the boss talking to Trey Gully and trying to talk him into heading up one of the manufacturing groups. Then we have to go to a meeting. On the way I pass through the old manufacturing building and see that all the equipment has been removed from it. It is totally empty. Then I am approaching the meeting room and I am thinking, “Why am I here? I should have retired a few years ago.” END
The lifts are equipment for moving heavy product in a factory. The two sets of five each indicate 2 changes occurring although one was already in progress when the new one started. John Deere green is a symbol for growth. Workplace is working consciousness. Boss is authority figure. Other employee is aspect of self. Two hiding is concealed aspects of self. New machines indicates new tools for getting something done. Opening door is revealing control of tools. Everything outside is open consciousness. Trey Gully is a police captain friend of mine and would seem to be a symbol for a guide to watch over me. Empty building is old consciousness that is no longer used and all the old tools are gone. Approaching meeting would seem to indicate a joining of aspects. And finally, the question "WHY AM I HERE?" The afterthought about being retired is simply a statement of my present physical condition.
As usual, I am seeking input.
