So what did you memorialize over the Memorial Day weekend? And what is your personal definition of memorialize? I don't care what dictionairies say. I want to hear about your personal definition. What does it mean to memorialize? More importantly, how does it make you feel?

To me to memorialize is to remember someone with a tribute, pay respect in a solemn, grateful way for their life/what they did in life.
It makes me feel gratitude and appreciation, to memorialize. I didn't do anything in an outward way to memorialize this Memorial Day weekend, but inwardly I gave thanks for all our veterans of the U.S.A. for their efforts in protecting life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, for ensuring our freedom. I am in awe at what our military servicemembers have done for me, my family, my country. |
