I'm so happy for you White Feather, and for your little girl having a little girl of her own, what a special occasion, Cheyenne's grand entrance into this world! Congratulations. I know I told you already, but I thought this was a very appropriate occasion to make my re-appearance in here, what better thread to jump into than this one? Your little Scorpio granddaughter hopefully will be into exploring mysterious, magical, mystical, metaphysical stuff, cool! Her Grandpa can delight her as a storyteller! She sure took her sweet time to emerge! I'm glad you got to hear Cheynne Mackenzie cry heartily over the phone.....and glad to hear that for Christmas you will get a very Special Delivery Gift this year!!!

Hi to everyone, I've missed being here. I wasn't even reading here since August, it's been a long time! Imagine my utter surprise and astonishment to find on the bottom of the first page a thread on Edgar Cayce and the Hall of Records.....MAJOR synchronicity strikes again.....because that is the VERY quote that was so sticking with me from the book I am presently reading by the A.R.E. editors called "Edgar Cayce on Egypt"!!!!!! I mean for weeks now, I kept thinking about this same quote, and what it meant for me personally as well as humanity, and I come in here after a 3 month absence only to find you White Feather are quoting it.....the very same info that had struck me so profoundly that I haven't been able to get it out of my head!!!!!!!! Is that ordained and orchestrated...meant to be.....or what?!!! LOL AMAZING!!!!!


I only wear thermal underwear when it's at least 10 degrees below zero.

It actually snowed once this year.....the morning of my birthday! hehe I considered that a gift.

Akai, I have made certain proclamations before.... that I am all done with such and such....and BAM! wouldn't you know it, I had to deal with that very thing shortly afterwards, sometimes the same day or the next day, or a couple of weeks later. I usually take it to mean God~The Universe is asking me are you SURE you mean it....here's another chance, another door opening to it....just so you can practice what you proclaimed...or take your words back. hehe It's annoying, but invariably it's what happens when I am forcefully and passionately declaring something with intensity and vigor, but if I am leaving any room at all for uncertainty and doubt, the "test" and "challenge" then immediately comes up.....whether it's REALLY what I want, or just what I thought that I wanted in that moment.

I was okay with the time change but Layna's body clock kept right on keeping time the old way, so I found myself having to get out of bid with her an hour before my alarm went off. Luckily she adjusted pretty fast, and we both compromised some. She's so cute with how she wakes me up in the morning. She'll get off the bed first to investigate the bird feeder scene out the livingroom window, then she walks back into our bedroom and will brush her tickly whiskers on whatever body part extremity happens to be laying closest to the edge of the bed, usually my hand, sometimes my foot or my leg. It's the lightest whisker wake-up, and I just laugh out loud every time, because it tickles for one thing, and she's so cute and doesn't blast me out of bed with a trumpet bark like Tosha used to do! Oh she was just downright a taskmaster telling me to March when she wanted out, and Layna is so gentle, you can barely feel her touch. It's funny how different all my dogs are. I gave Layna a bath on the 11/11 Veterans Day holiday last Wednesday and she let me, she didn't fight it, and was a very good girl. She was just too stinky to put up with any more, she hadn't been bathed since April. I've got her at work with me today, she likes being "working girl". Her job is the official greeter and employee morale. hehe I was taking a break from drafting this post while a coworker came in with her dog, Molly, a 4 year old yellow lab. That was interesting! The girls were good together. Layna immediately surrendered to Molly assertion that SHE was going to be pack leader! Layna had big boy Max to contend with growing up, twice her size, so luckily she submitted without a fight! Molly got about 90% of Layna's dog bone treats she'd been saving all day on her puppy bed comforter behind my chair. Oh well, it was a very good "test" of Layna's social skills! She shares nicely, I gotta say. And she's wise, giving up the good stuff to the bigger dog. hehe

I haven't gone to the movies since seeing the Matrix Revolution at an IMAX theater on my 40th birthday...4 years ago...that's hard to believe....time is FLYING!!!

Before we left for our cross country road trip vacation I attended two citizens group meetings with my husband. The group being concerned with zoning being too restrictive in our little town (population 2,800). Lo and behold, I ended up going to my very first ever Selectboard meeting a few days before we hit the road, just to observe the local government process in progress. And since I had found out that very same day about a vacancy on the Zoning Board, after visiting with one of the Selectboard members (he's a dairy farmer in town on my backroad shortcut to work), I raised my hand and said I'd like to be considered. Mind you this took place in two days time of my FIRST citizens group meeting EVER, taking an interest in our local government affairs. (See what I mean, Akai? LOL). So....I had a letter in my mail once we got home from our trip....that the Selectboard appointed me to the Zoning Board! hehe I have sat in on just one permit hearing so far, for an expansion of the town library, and it's a doozy let me tell ya, lots of controversy with the neighbors, it was a very interesting indoctrination into sitting on a Zoning Board of Adjustment! hehe We're meeting again on the 9th to make our decision, it's a quasi judicial board and any decision can be appealed to the local Environmental Court.

So get this, here's the interesting part.....the citizens group I originally met with, along with my husband, is about 7-10 people (mostly all businessmen) regularly meeting, we've had 5 meetings so far, and I'm the secretary for them.....well if we are successful with our petition we just formalized last week....strangely enough I am supporting doing away with the very job I just got appointed to! LOL Yup, we want to repeal zoning in our town, that is our main focus. I don't think I'll be making any friends on the Zoning Board once they figure this out. hehe In Vermont we have 54 towns without zoning, about 1/4 of all the towns in our state. I want an education into how town government works though, and what better way than a front row seat?

Akai, our friends who played host to us in Las Vegas saw The Hangover in their room one night and told us to watch it, they said it was the funniest movie, glad you enjoyed it too! We didn't get to see the movie though, I'll make a note in case it comes out on those movie order channels.

White Feather, the movie about the guy's experiences waiting for the Dalai Lama interview sounds awesome. I love it that Ghandi was his idol growing up! I just love the way the Dalai Lama is just so able to respect and appreciate those of a different religion, I've seen him do it on TV in a group discussing human rights, he and Archbishop Desmond Tutu cracked me up with their banter!

I liked hearing about James Twyman's film, good synopsis White Feather. I especially enjoyed the part about the 4 minute blurb by Neale Donald Walsch on Moses and God, and God's name being "I am that I am".

For about a year now I have had a special way of seeing that *name* myself, I wonder if it coincides with Neale? I say it like this....I am *THAT* I am! There is nothing that God is not (the Bible puts it that all live, move and have their being in God), all that was, is, and shall be. God is all the potential too, all the possible possibilities, and is No-Thing-Ness, the Void or the None~One. God can say I am THAT, I am! Oneness is All-encompassing.

Ken Burns has a great documentary out now on National Parks, terrific!!! He grew up in a town just south and across the river from me, actually. hehe

So that's my latest news. Our trip was AWESOME!!!! It really IS America The Beautiful!!!!
