Who is your favorite actress of all time?
|

Patty Norrbom |
This was a hard one to think about | ||
|
My favorite actress of all time is Meryl Streep. I loved her in the Devil wears Prada. She can play any role, and she is so beautiful. She is funny,
serious, stunning, can look good, can look not so good at times for a role, and she never has been in the gossip circle of doing anything crazy, well at least
I have not read anything regarding her in a negative light.
This was hard cause I am a movie buff, I love Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan movies, but Meg Ryan is not my favorite. Maybe later today, I will think another is a favorite, who knows. But for right now in this NOW MOMENT Meryl Streep is my girl. |

Julia Adams played the heroine in many of the old b-westerns I watched as a kid. To me, she was absolutely beautiful and the best girl friend any of my heroes
could have had.

Okay, I've got it narrowed down to 7. When I get it down to 1 I'll be back.

Katharine Hepburn. Always loved her, not as much as an actress but as a person. Can't believe Cate Blanchett won an Oscar by portraying her as such a
precious caricatural diva in "The Aviator".
"Go to God, any which way, but go!!!

Oh, Katharine Hepburn is certainly in my top 7. When she spoke she turned words into art. Every word that came out of her mouth was coated with gold. This
particular wordsmith could not have helped but fall under her spell.
Lovestar, I haven't seen The Aviator yet but when I do I'll let you know what I think.

Movie Night | ||
|
Hey Patty, I had not seen The Devil Wears Prada, but I finally watched it last night. Wow! What
an incredible performance by Meryl Streep! I was quite blown away by her and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Anne Hathaway was pretty darn incredible, too.
I'm so glad it caught my eye in the DVD display at the end of the aisle at Safeway. I was there just for food but when it caught the periphery of my
vision I remembered that you mentioned it in your post. As I pulled it out of the rack to inspect it, I thought, "Hmm, that's what I'll do
tonight after work. I'll watch a movie." So I dropped the DVD into my handbasket along with the salad greens, tomato, mangoes, lemons, cucumber,
onion, garlic, potatos, sweet red pepper, bananas, kumquats, and broccoli. (I had just come from the produce department.)
So that's what I did late last night after work instead of blabbering online. It was a lovely little break from my routine. It was like a mini little vacationette (To New York and Paris.) That Haagen-Daz I had during the movie was also a break from routine. (The DVD display is located between the produce section and the frozen food section.) Anyway, thanks for bringing that movie up. By the way, that list of 7 that I was going to narrow down to 1 is now a list of 10! Help! I'm going the wrong way. It's getting harder than I thought to answer my own silly question. |

what drew me to the movie in her portrayal of the icy !++@@ was that inside that was a hurting soul. She portrayed it so well, because so many on this earth
wear the masks of the ego.....
I'm tired so off to lullaby land for me, and hopefully White Feather you will make your decision soon on your favorite Actress. I know I'm anticipating it and I love everyone's choices also. |
