Do you tend to read different kinds of books than usual in the summer, lighter reading perhaps?

Or perhaps there is a book you read one summer that marked that particular year?

It was childhood associations that ruined The Sound of Music for me. Now, I'm not sure whether

I am now enjoying Julie Andrew's autobiography very much. I have to laugh at what you said about "The Sound of Music". I used to detest it, and
now own it and watch it every december sometimes during the holidays. I don't know why but that movie has become associated with Christmas for some strange
reason.
